Disney Ft. Wilderness with a cutie!

From Tampa, we drove to Orlando in order to experience Ft. Wilderness at Disney with Sophie, our youngest grandchild. The campground is nicely kept and the activities for kids are fabulous but the campsites are tight.

Sophie is a cute as a button, confident 6 year old and she was such fun to be around!  We haven't gotten to spend a lot of time with her since she lives in Jacksonville so this was a chance to get to know her better.  She is an absolute doll and we enjoyed seeing Ft Wilderness thru her eyes.  We rented a golf cart to get around in and she enjoyed sitting in the cart and driving around the grounds.

The older grandkids from Jacksonville were returning from a trip to Italy with their Dad so he brought them to Ft.Wilderness so we could take them back to Jacksonville.  So off to JAX we went with the precious cargo, our grandkids!

After a short visit with Ginny and Joe, we headed home to Indy and hopefully cooler weather.  Florida heat is brutal in the summer!
Pop Pop and Sophie checking out the butterfly garden.

Sophies favorite ride.

The two kids I traveled with.

Sophie loves nature and is always looking for new discoveries.

Playing with rocks and Pop Pop.....better than any Disney show for Sophie.
